- Veronica is Carlo's childhood friend who grew up in the monastery with him. Veronica is hinted to have been in romantic love with Carlo in her youth, as Minami states to Ootomo that Veronica would've married Carlo had she been a normal girl. Later, Veronica's feelings became a sibling-like love towards Carlo.
