Midou started to regain his memories after seeing the flash of light. He then sneaked back to the second gymnasium, and took Minami Harusumi 's notebook. Upon reading the spells recorded in the book, memories of his interaction as Jared Florio with Princess Veronica came back to him.
Midou then called Minami at his house after the students were sent home from school due to the earthquake. After relaying the message that there would be no school the day after, he confessed to Minami that his notebook was with him, and that he would like to speak to Minami the day after.
